What to Expect at a Same-Day Sick Visit
Not every health concern can wait for your next scheduled checkup. Same-day sick visits are built for those moments, when you'd rather be seen by a provider than wait it out at home wondering.
What Same-Day Visits Are For
Same-day and walk-in appointments are meant for concerns that feel like they shouldn't wait but aren't a medical emergency. Our staff can help you figure out whether a same-day visit is the right fit when you call, and if your situation sounds like it needs emergency care, they'll direct you accordingly.
What Happens During Your Visit
You'll check in, go over your symptoms and health history with a provider, and be examined as needed. Depending on what's going on, your provider may recommend testing, a treatment plan, or a follow-up visit. The goal is to get you accurate information and a clear next step without an unnecessary wait.
What to Bring
- A photo ID and your insurance card
- A list of current medications and supplements
- Notes on when your symptoms started and any changes you've noticed
- Any relevant records if you're new to our practice
