Your own practice versus urgent care
Urgent care earns its place after hours and on weekends, and for a problem at nine at night it is the right call. During office hours the calculation is different, because your own practice has the one thing urgent care does not: your record. What you already take, what you already manage, what happened the last three times you felt like this. The visit also lands in that same chart, so follow-up does not wait on records arriving from a clinic across town, and nobody prescribes around a medication they did not know about.
Getting seen the same day
Call (561) 473-9044 as early in the day as you can — morning calls have the best chance of a same-day slot, and by mid-afternoon the held appointments are usually gone. If nothing is open that day, the office books you the soonest appointment available. If your symptoms are severe, or you think you may be having an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room instead of waiting for an office appointment.
Before you come in
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and a current medication list. If you have taken your temperature, know the number. If symptoms started on a particular day, know the day — the timeline is often more useful to a provider than the description. And if a condition you already manage with us is flaring rather than something new, say so when you call, because it changes how the visit is scheduled.
The Forest Hill Boulevard office
The West Palm Beach office is on Forest Hill Boulevard in Suite 3B, a few minutes east of Florida's Turnpike and a straight drive from Greenacres, Lake Worth, and the Wellington side of Forest Hill. Parking is on site. Hours are Monday through Friday, eight in the morning to five in the afternoon.

If your symptoms are severe, or you think you may be having an emergency such as chest pain or trouble breathing, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room rather than waiting for an office appointment.
Can you test for flu or strep in the office?
In-office testing is done when your provider recommends it based on your symptoms. The CDC's guidance on respiratory illness is a useful starting point, but what gets tested is decided at the visit.
What if I need to be seen after hours?
The office is open Monday through Friday, eight to five. Outside those hours an urgent care or, for anything severe, an emergency room is the right choice — then follow up with us so the visit makes it into your chart.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
